Workplace launch

Since launching in April 2017, Workplace has become Catch22’s new intranet and collaboration site. It is being used to house policies, templates and governance information as well as offering a place for colleagues to come together and get to know each other, driven by collaboration and best practice.

With over 140 offices all over the UK and services in Education, Justice, Employability and Young People and Families, it’s been challenging to make everyone feel united under one brand. Workplace has helped geographically spread people, connecting frontline workers and corporate services. It has led to new collaborations and a much better culture overall and by replacing the old Catch22 intranet with Workplace, the organisation is now saving £3,200 a year.

The Communications team, of which I was part of, developed an extensive launch plan to ensure all colleagues were on boarded to Workplace. This included executing a full internal launch campaign to stimulate awareness, interest, uptake and engagement with Workplace to make sure it wouldn’t become ‘just another system’. To support with this, I designed posters, email newsletters, banners, guides and flyers to reach over 1,300 colleagues.
